The Victorian Government has announced an extension to the current lockdown to at least Thursday June 10. The same measures as has already existed remain in place for the Melbourne Metropolitan area, for regional areas there are changes.
As such St Andrew’s will move to online remote learning beginning Monday 7 June.
To assist in this process we will be distributing chromebooks on Friday from near the school office.
The school does not have enough chromebooks for each student so if your child has access to a device please leave the school resources for those who do not.
We will distribute a chromebook per family, and two chromebooks where there is more than one child.
A user agreement will be required to be signed at the time of borrowing.
To manage the distribution in a COVID safe way, we ask that where possible you arrive in the following time allotments:
Family name beginning with:
A-F 9.00am – 10.00am
G-M 10.00am – 11.00am
N-S 11.30am – 12.30pm
T-Z 12.30pm – 1.30pm
If you are unable to attend in your allocated time slot please ring the school office (9741 3686) to make alternate arrangements.
We will be restricting the numbers on site so please come prepared to wait outside the gate if necessary and all those over 12 years of age attending the site will be required to scan the Service Victoria QR code.
The Care & Supervision program will continue to be delivered on site for children of authorised workers who cannot make other arrangements for supervision at home & students the school identifies as vulnerable. Register for this via the On-site School Intentions eForm on the Skoolbag App.
The hours are 8.30-3.15 (please note the earlier time)
Camp Australia will continue to provide Before and After School Care. Please register via the CAMP AUSTRALIA parent portal. All users of Camp Australia OSHC are asked to review their bookings and cancel if not needed.
More information will be distributed as it is available.
Thank you for your continuing support, co-operation and patience. We’re all in this together
